Happy New Year, JJOA family!
As we welcome 2026, I'm filled with gratitude and excitement to share the story behind Blush & Blue and the mission that drives everything we create. Whether you're a longtime supporter or just discovering us, I want you to know the heart behind every rhinestone, every patch, and every piece of apparel we offer.
How It All Started
My journey with Jack and Jill of America began in the Spring of 2025 when I joined as a mom, eager to provide my children with the incredible opportunities, friendships, and values this organization offers. Like many of you, I quickly fell in love with the sisterhood, the mission, and the sense of community that JJOA brings to our families.
But I noticed something: while our pride in Jack and Jill ran deep, finding high-quality, stylish JJOA apparel that truly reflected our love for the organization was challenging. I wanted pieces that were beautiful enough to wear beyond chapter meetings—items that sparkled with the same joy and excellence that JJOA represents.
So I decided to create them myself.
What started as making custom tees for my chapter sisters quickly grew into something bigger. Word spread, orders came in, and before I knew it, Blush & Blue was born. This year, I became an officially licensed Jack and Jill of America vendor, and I am excited to contribute my creativity and passion into creating beautiful pieces for all of you.
Why "Blush & Blue"?
The name Blush & Blue represents the signature colors of Jack and Jill of America—pink and blue—but it also represents something deeper. "Blush" captures the warmth, femininity, and joy of our sisterhood. "Blue" represents strength, legacy, and the enduring values we pass down to our children.
Together, these colors tell the story of who we are: strong yet nurturing, proud yet humble, rooted in tradition yet always moving forward.
Our Mission
At Blush & Blue, our mission is simple but meaningful:
To create beautiful, high-quality Jack and Jill apparel that helps moms, teens, and children celebrate their JJOA pride with style and confidence.
Every piece we design is crafted with care, using premium materials and professional techniques. From rhinestone applications done with commercial heat press equipment to carefully selected fabrics that hold up wash after wash, we never compromise on quality.
But beyond the products themselves, our deeper mission is to strengthen the bonds of our JJOA community. When you wear Blush & Blue, you're not just wearing a tee or carrying a tote—you're joining a sisterhood of moms who believe in raising future leaders, supporting one another, and celebrating Black excellence.
